During the last few weeks of my internship at Microsoft in 2018, I spent my time at Turn 10 Studios and helped design a mini-leaderboard for their multiplayer hoppers.
The Project
In Forza Motorsport, players can join multiplayer groups called “hoppers.” Players then compete against each other for as long as they decide to stay. The team at Turn 10 asked me to design a mini leaderboard for the hoppers so players could know who was doing the best throughout the hopper, not just in the individual race.
