Duke’s “What If Report” — the tool every student uses to plan classes toward their degree — was confusing and stressful enough that most students kept external spreadsheets instead. For my certificate capstone, our team redesigned it as the “Better What If”.
I built personas, a task model, and a user journey of the current process to surface pain points, ran team wireframing sessions, then delivered higher-fidelity wireframes: a “What” page (filterable course search, a My Academics plan with drag-and-drop course slots, warnings for special requirements) and a “When” page (semester-by-semester scheduling, color-coded selected vs. placed courses, room for overloads and summer sessions).

The problem: museum visitation is in decline as entertainment moves to the couch. The observation: people already take photos of art in museums — photos that get lost in the camera roll.
The idea: leverage that photo-taking instinct into an interactive experience between visitor and environment. cYourate lets museum visitors interact with, save, and curate the art they see — turning a visit into a collection.

ClinWiki is a non-profit providing crowd-sourced clinical trial information, making it easier for patients to find a trial. I worked with them on a redesign of their experience — my first taste of UX with a real client.
I wrote the project brief (goals, methods, deliverable timeline), ran research online and through user interviews, and delivered a design doc with wireframes, research findings, and future considerations.
